Tioga County Sports Report
TIOGA COUNTY - A trio of Owego standouts have been named STAC girls basketball divisional all-stars.

Senior guard Anna Felice, junior guard Kaci Donovan and sophomore forward Evee Coleman garnered three of the seven spots on the STAC Metro division team announced earlier this week.

Donovan averaged 25.8 points per game, connected for 30 3-pointers and shot 78 percent at the free throw line. She also contributed 6.8 rebounds, 3.8 steals, 3.7 assists and 0.7 blocks per game.

She surpassed the 1,000-point mark early in the season, and set school records for points in a season (542), points in a game (35) twice and field goals in a season (205). Tessa Pozzi previously held the single-game scoring record (33) while Kyle Dougherty had the other two marks (448 points, 167 field goals).

Coleman was dominant in the paint at both ends of the court. The forward averaged a double-double in scoring and rebounding (17.1 points, 10.4 rebounds), and posted 3.3 blocks per contest.

She established new school records for blocked shots in a game (10) and a season (65). Lea Burnett (9) and Rachel Merrill (56) held those records previously. Donovan also set a new school mark for single-season field goal percentage at 62 percent, besting Nancy Neary (52 percent).

Felice scored 13.1 points and dished out 4.3 assists per game. She also averaged 2.7 steals and 2.5 rebounds.

Rounding out the All-Metro group were M-E senior Ashlyn McKnight, Johnson City senior Taylor Johnson, U-E senior Abby Madigan and Vestal senior Sarah Harding.

Owego went 18-0 during the regular season to capture the Metro championship. The Indians finished the season 19-2 overall and were the STAC and Section IV Class B runners-up.
