COLLEGE CROWD: OWEGO GRAD BELL RACKING UP DUAL MEET WINS (2019-01-28)

BROCKPORT, N.Y. - The College at Brockport's Jackson Bell, an Owego grad, has won four dual meet matches in a row.

After starting 2019 off with a tough 2-0 loss to Newark Valley grad Trevor Huffier from Oswego State, the senior 165-pounder bounced back with three bonus-point wins in the past four duals.

At the Alfred State triangular last Tuesday, he posted an 18-0 tech. fall in a 50-0 blanking of Pitt-Bradford and a 15-4major deacons in a 43-6 victory over the host Pioneers. At the Worchester Polytechnic Institute quadrangular Saturday, Bell scored a 5-0 decision in a 21-9 loss to Southern Maine, then racked up a 10-2 major decision against WPI.

The Golden eagles head to the Baldwin Wallace tournament on Ohio this weekend.
